New Stuff at Red Rock Wilderness Store and Northwind Lodge

NEW! Re-discover yourself with YOGA!

Well, she went ahead and did it! After about five years of researching, planning, and studying on her own, Annette Baltich, co-owner of Northwind Lodge & Red Rock Wilderness Store took the plunge and headed off to Massachusetts to complete the Intensive Yoga Teacher Training Course at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health. After 30 days of intensive training, she graduated & became a certified Kripalu Yoga Instructor in November, 2004. The training consisted of 15-hour days comprised of classes, seminars, lectures, experiential-based learning, practicum, & several hours of daily yoga practice. No, she did not come home wearing a saffron robe, but she did develop a more advanced understanding of the practice. As a result, she began teaching Kripalu Yoga in January, 2005 out in the woods at Northwind Lodge! It is Annette's intention to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental, accessible environment at The Yoga Den. Honoring the body's needs in each moment, The Yoga Den welcomes all levels of participants, including brand new beginners! Annette is registered at the 200-hour level (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, the international governing body which oversees training standards for yoga teachers. She also continues her training as a yoga educator with periodic visits to Kripalu Center, steadily working towards the 500-hour, advanced-level yoga teacher certification. For more information about The Yoga Den, we invite you to contact Northwind Lodge/Red Rock at 800-280-1078, or email Annette directly: annette@redrockstore.com
