Adding Rudders to other Canoes

Q. I am really sad...as a kayak/fisherperson I have bought a Wenonah Vagabond which is good for the fishing areas I venture canoe in. This is my first solo canoe experience so ....Anyway, I really miss my kayak with rudder for fishing the tidal rivers but love the solo canoe dry ride in our mild winter season. Your article on the Souris RIver Tranq with rudder caught my eye....Could this system be incoporated on any other solo canoe? Specifically my solo canoe from Wenonah? It is really a fishing tool to steer for hands free fishing in currents.

How much?

I have the foot braces on my boat would I need something like the Yakima footbrace system instead?

Since I uploaded that page 10 days ago, I've received a bunch of requests for rudder packages, but unfortunately, this one is only available on the SR Tranquility. They are not adaptable to other canoes and don't offer a universal fit package at this time. Sorry.
