Canoe Crates working well
I received my Souris River Quetico 17 yesterday. It was in
PERFECT condition after its 1700 mile truck journey. The crating was incredible - a work of art,
almost a shame to take it apart. You can buy with confidence, even if you can't pick your canoe up
at the store.
The boat exceeded my expectations. The build quality is superb and
a brief paddle on our lake promises wonderful times ahead. She flies on the water, tracks better
than OT's best and turns like a sports car. All that and great stability too! I can't wait to get
some serious water time in her. I'm spoiled and will never be able to go back to anything else.
I bought a used 2003 model. The advertised scratches were so minor
as to be unnoticeable from a few feet away and will surely be joined with others anyway. The store
staff was great to deal with on the phone and patiently answered all my questions. They allayed my
qualms about buying a used canoe sight unseen.
